Fairhaven looks to the Scriptures for models of leadership within the church. Both 1 Timothy and Titus describe the qualifications of a leader, emphasizing the headship of Jesus over the church, and the plurality of leaders to teach and shepherd His Body.
We currently have nine men serving as elders. These men were recognized by the assembly as qualified and faithfully serving in this capacity.
We currently have nine men serving as deacons. Once these men were recognized and recommended for serving as deacons, the assembly voted in favor of their being added to the board.
